What “household” means
You and the people who live with you, on the Macs you and they personally use. We do not count machines or ask you to manage seats, because a family should not need a licence administrator.
It does not cover rolling the app out across an organisation or a client base. If that is what you need, get in touch through our support form and we will work something out.
What you need to run it
An Apple silicon Mac running macOS 26 or later. Intel Macs are not supported. Apple Intelligence is optional and only needed for Rewrite.
Trying it first
The 14-day trial is the same software as the paid app, not a reduced version. It asks for no payment details and does not turn into a charge on its own. When it ends you decide.
If it is not right for you
Tell us within 30 days and we refund you in full. You do not need a reason, and activating your licence does not forfeit it. The full terms are on the Refund Policy page.
Who you are buying from
Take Dictation is made by Shifted Music LLC. Orders are processed by Paddle.com Market Ltd as merchant of record, which handles payment, invoicing, and any sales tax or VAT, and appears as the seller on your statement.
